Добавление других portable программ в PortableApps.com

Перетащите в папку «PortableApps» другую переносную программу, не связанную с PortableApps.com.  Далее в оболочке выделите любую программу, а в контекстном меню нажмите на пункт «Обновить».

После обновления, в списке программ появится новая программа, которая будет расположена в папке «Прочее». Переместите программу в подходящую категорию, в соответствии с выполняемыми функциями.

Некоторые портабельные программы добавляют два значка в оболочку. Оставьте в платформе цветной значок (будет понятно), а по другому значку кликните правой кнопкой мыши, в контекстном меню выберите команду «Скрыть».

В программах могут быть два одинаковых значка для работы отдельно в 32 битных или 64 битных версиях операционной системы Windows. Что делать в этом случае, я покажу на примере программы CCleaner Portable.

Подведите курсор мыши к одному из двух одинаковых значков для того, чтобы увидеть разрядность приложения. Вы увидите, что данный значок расположен по пути к файлу «CCleaner64.exe». Этот значок можно переименовать из контекстного меню. Дайте значку новое имя, например, «CCleaner x64». После этого, будет понятно, что с данного значка можно запускать программу в 64 битной версии операционной системы Windows.

CDex

CDex is the best, easiest, and fastest CD ripper ever made. It has the ability to rip the discs into MP3 files, along with its metadata (by connecting with a «remote database»). You can add all of the music to new playlists, as well as have the computer shutdown when the ripping has finished, so this is an ideal «start it and go to bed» app.

It’s important to note that CDex is better than the paid apps out there. Don’t bother with the rest if you need to pull audio tracks off a CD.

MP3tag

If CDex doesn’t cut it for managing your massive music library, then that’s where the tag editor Mp3tag comes in. Simply load the relevant songs into MP3tag, and from there you can fix the title of the song, the singer/band, album name, and album artwork. Save your work and bingo, your MP3 files are fixed.

Avidemux

Avidemux is a video editor designed for simple cutting, filtering, and encoding tasks. It supports many file types, including AVI, DVD compatible MPEG files, MP4 and ASF, using a variety of codecs. Tasks can be automated using projects, job queue, and powerful scripting capabilities.

VirtualDub

VirtualDub Portable is a video-capture and video-processing app. It includes batch-processing capabilities for processing large numbers of files. It can also be extended with third-party video filters. VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files, although it can read (not write) MPEG-1 and also handle sets of BMP images.

Организация и настройки в PortableApps.com

Для открытия меню оболочки, кликните по значку PortableApps com Platform в области уведомлений. Вы увидите установленные (в моем случае на флешку) Portableapps программы. В нижней части окна оболочки находится индикатор, отображающий место, занятое портативными программами на флешке или на том диске, на котором находится программа PortableApps.com.

Из разделов меню «Документы», «Музыка», «Изображения», «Видео» можно войти в соответствующие папки на том диске, на котором установлена оболочка PortableApps.com.

В разделе «Просмотр» отрывается диск (флешка) или папка с PortableApps.

С помощью раздела «Архивация» можно создать резервную копию PortableApps.com с установленными портативными программами, или восстановить PortableApps.com Platform из резервной копии.

Из раздела «Приложения» можно проверить обновления, загрузить новое приложение, установить приложение, обновить иконки, показать скрытые иконки.

Для изменения параметров приложения нажмите на «Настройки». В окне «Настройка» организуйте список приложений по своим предпочтениям, выберите подходящую тему оформления.

В правом нижнем углу приложения расположены две кнопки: для выключения компьютера и для отключения PortableApps Platform.

Modifications

I made some modifications to the default ZIPped version of FileZilla
to make it more USB key friendly (decreasing total install size and
backing up configurations). These changes are listed here so you’ll
know what they are, and so you can recreate the process, if so desired.

• Friendly Launcher — FileZilla Portable Launcher 1.1.1.6 is included by default. It backs up your
  settings file to the settings directory for easier data backups.
• EXEs and DLLs Compressed — All EXEs and DLLs were recompressed using UPX. This gets our installed
  size down to one that is a bit more manageable. Additionally, it will speed up use
  when you’re running over USB 1.1. The options used were: —best —compress-icons=0 —nrv2d —crp-ms=999999 -k
• Debug Files Removed — The debug files were removed to save space.

Upgrading FileZilla Portable / Importing Old Settings

To upgrade to a newer version of FileZilla Portable, just install a new version right over your old version. All your settings will be preserved.

When upgrading from a 2.x version of FileZilla to a 3.x version, your old settings file can not be automatically upgraded and will be lost if you don’t manually save them. This is a limitation of FileZilla itself. Before upgrading, make a backup copy of your FileZilla.xml settings file from X:\PortableApps\FileZillaPortable\Data\settings\FileZilla.xml to a safe location.

After upgrading FileZilla Portable, just select Edit and then Import from the main menu and open up the file containing your old settings. FileZilla will then import your old settings and be able to use them. Some advanced settings like remote start directories will not be imported and you’ll need to set them up again.

Using a Portable App

If you’re using the PortableApps.com Platform, to start your portable app, just click its icon within the menu.

If you’re running it standalone, browse to the directory you installed the AppNamePortable directory you installed to and then double-click the AppNamePortable.exe file. Then, just use the app as you’d use the regular version.

While using portable software, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:

• Stay Safe — When using portable apps, it’s always a good idea to practice Safe Portable App-ing.
• Close Apps Before Ejecting/Shutting Down — When you’re done, close all your portable apps and the PortableApps.com Platform. The platform can automatically close all your running portable apps for you and eject your drive or prompt to shut down your computer. If using an external drive without the PortableApps.com Platform, select the ‘Safely remove ‘ option from the icon in the system tray. If you remove the drive while it is in use, you could corrupt your apps and lose your data. If you shutdown Windows while a portable app is still running, it may not get to save its settings and remove any local data before closing.

AquaSnap is a resource-friendly window organization tool. Windows can quickly and easily resize to 1/2 (vertically or horizontally) and 1/4 of the screen by just dragging them to an edge or corner. Other available effects include window-stretching capabilities, making a window transparent when moving it across the screen and ability to manually «shake» a window, enabling transparency or minimizing other windows. Various color and design skins are available for window resize feature.
AquaSnap Personal Edition has all the features of the Professional Edition with the exception of mouse shortcuts, window tiling, «move windows together» and multi-monitor support. Package includes a 32-bit and a 64-bit version and a PortableApps format version is also available.

Productivity

LibreOffice

LibreOffice is available as a portable application. I recommend installing it if you have the storage space. However, if you don’t have the storage space, LibreOffice is an amazing portable app. It’s one of the best free Microsoft Office alternatives.

Text2Folders

Sometimes, when I am in the middle of a project on my computer, I need to make multiple new folders for different files. But it is tiring having to laboriously make each folder, so Text2Folders aims to help by making those folders for you at the click of a button.

You simply type the numbers of the folders you want in a text file. So if you wanted five folders, you would type «1,2,3,4,5» (no parentheses) into the text file. Save and close. Then with Text2Folders, navigate to the text file and start it. It will then instantly create five folders for you in the same location as the text file.

Obviously, you would have to rename the folders, but hey the folders have been made for you, which has saved some time, right?

Zip2Fix

.ZIP files (also known as «Zip» which is appended onto a file name) are awesome for collecting and compacting lots of files together. But Zip files get corrupted, just like any other computer file. So how do you try to salvage what you can, when a zip file goes bad? You use Zip2Fix.

With Zip2Fix, it will scan the corrupted (and therefore unopenable) Zip file, and see if there are any files able to be retrieved. If anything can be salvaged, it will extract those files and create a totally separate Zip file with them inside. You can then dump the corrupted Zip file, and see in the other one what has survived.

Zip2Fix ranks among the best portable apps around. I highly recommend it for all Windows users.

It’s very easy to accumulate stuff on our hard drives. In my photo folder for my dog, I have at least six copies of every photo because of massive reduplication issues with cloud storage apps. Just add the photo directories on your hard drive that you want scanned and it will get to work finding the duplicates. Don’t worry, nothing gets deleted without your say-so. When it has finished, it will find similar images, present them to you side-by-side with a probability in percentage terms of how likely it is that the photos are similar. You then decide which one you want to keep and which one gets tossed.

If you have a huge collection of anything, whether it be books, DVDs, belly-button lint, whatever, then you may want to catalog it all so you know what you have. That is where DataCrow comes in. Just choose your category, and add the details. It is a little on the basic side but that will appeal to those who are into minimalism.

Free Download Manager

The first thing that this has got going for it is that it can automatically detect downloads starting in both Firefox and Chrome. So there is no need to actually start it in Download Manager. As long as Download Manager is running in the background, it will know when something starts in one of those browsers. It will also monitor the clipboard for any downloads.

Overall, using an app like this often makes downloads faster, plus if the browser was suddenly to crash and close, Download Manager would be able to pick up the download where it left off.

Сколько страниц сайта Google точно проиндексировал, узнать невозможно. Поисковик не ведет базу данных по URL-адресам.

Примерное количество страниц в выдаче покажет оператор site:, на который мы ориентируемся. Число может быть искажено страницами, которые запрещены к индексу в robots.txt, но попали в выдачу из-за внешних ссылок на них.

Чуть более точное количество покажет раздел «Статус индексирования» в Google Search Console, но и эти данные могут быть искажены из-за применения фильтров.

PR-CY Rank — рейтинг для оценки перспективности сайтов в качестве доноров для линкбилдинга. При формировании рейтинга мы анализируем трафиковые и трастовые параметры, а также ссылочный профиль сайта.

Влияние — потенциал влияния сайта на продвижение. Если влияние слабое, то слабым будет как отрицательный эффект (если рейтинг низкий), так и положительный (если рейтинг высокий) и наоборот. Потенциал влияния основан на размере постоянной аудитории сайта.

Ссылочный фактор — вычисляется на основе соотношения входящих и исходящих ссылок на сайт, значений Trust Rank, Domain Rank и др.

Трафиковый фактор — вычисляется на основании объёма и динамики трафика (отрицательная динамика портит рейтинг, положительная динамика — повышает).

Трастовый фактор — анализирует множество параметров, таких как “ИКС”, доля поискового трафика в общем трафике, адаптацию под мобильные устройства и множество других факторов, признанных поисковыми системами, как значимые для ранжирования.

Установка PortableApps.com Platform

Запустите файл portableapps com platform setup на компьютере. После запуска файла portableapps paf выберите русский язык, а затем нажмите на кнопку «Далее». Примите условия лицензионного соглашения.

В окне «Тип установки» необходимо выбрать тип установки приложения:

• Новая установка — платформа PortableApps.com установится на USB-носителе, локальном ПК или облаке.
• Обновление установленного ПО — обновление ранее установленного PortableApps.com.
• Выберите другое расположение — выбор директории для установки PortableApps.com.

Программу-оболочку можно расположить в любом месте на компьютере, облаке, на съемном диске.

В окне «Способ установки» выберите наиболее предпочтительный вариант установки платформы.

Выберите место установки, если необходимо создайте папку для размещения платформы, подтвердите, а затем нажмите на кнопку «Установить».

После завершения копирования файлов, запустится окно с информацией. Затем откроется окно для загрузки новых приложений, а в области уведомлений появится меню оболочки, напоминающее меню «Пуск» в операционной системе Windows 7.

Если PortableApps.com Platform была установлена на компьютер, в дальнейшем можно переместить папку в любое другое место, например, на флешку.

Removing Apps from the PortableApps.com Menu

To uninstall a portable app, just right-click and select Uninstall. The Platform will ask if you’re sure, then it will take a few moments to delete all the files.

You can also just delete the app itself in Explorer. From the PortableApps.com Menu, just click the Explore button and browse to the PortableApps directory. There you will see a list of the directories containing the installed apps. To uninstall Mines-Perfect Portable, for instance, you’d just delete the Mines-PerfectPortable directory from your device. You can then click Options — Refresh App Icons within PortableApps.com Menu and the it will detect that you uninstalled the app.

KeePass

Never a day goes by without some kind of password hack being reported in the news. It’s important that you don’t reuse your passwords for different accounts. Also, make each password a bit more difficult than PASSWORD or 12345. Something along the lines of D?oqu?l8bhIY#|I+^\|&S~5Te is in order. But how do you remember that? You use a password manager.

I use a combination of LastPass with KeePass. You can export your LastPass passwords to KeePass. Once you’ve made the transfer you have a copy of your passwords in case anything ever happens to LastPass.

Eraser

If you are selling your computer, or are security conscious, then Eraser should be on your USB stick. The reason you need a secure erase method is that Windows files can be recovered even after you clear the Windows garbage can. The Windows trash can merely removes the file and gives you back disk space—but the file is still there. Anyone with the right software (readily and easily available online) could bring the file back. Eraser puts a stop to that.

Simply drag the files you want nuked into the Eraser window and let it do its work. By the time it is finished, those files will have been consigned to oblivion, and you can rest easy that your secrets are safe with you, and you only.

PWGen

PWGen is a password generator which will create for you large amounts of cryptographically-secure passwords or passphrases consisting of randomly drawn words from a dictionary. PWGen provides lots of options to customize passwords to the users’ various needs.

ClamWin

ClamWin is an antivirus program, which gives you features such as detecting viruses (obviously), as well as regular updates to the virus engine. You have to remember though that due to its portable nature, this is not a real-time scanner. This means that it will only detect a virus if you manually give it a file to check. Plus scheduled scans and updates are also not possible so you have to manually update it yourself.

CyberShredder

CyberShredder is an Eraser alternative. Just drag-and-drop files onto the CyberShredder interface and kiss those files goodbye.

If you are the paranoid type (and you should, because they really are out to get you), then Cybershredder is essential for making sure those deleted files stay deleted.

Q10 Minimalist Word Processor

Q10 is a distraction-free word processor that completely fills the screen up with the word processor. You have to hit Ctrl + Q or the Windows key to leave the interface.

Q10 comes with and without spell checking. Its version with spell check enabled has an installed size of 896 kilobytes. It’s easily the slimmest word processor that I’m aware of.

Aside from the optional spell-check feature, you also get a word and page count. Otherwise, that’s everything.
