Q&A
Oracle.
C:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN

Oracle?
1) Скачать oracle Instant Client
URL:https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/instant-client/winx64-64-downloads.html

1.3 Migrating User Settings from a Previous Release
The first time you start SQL Developer after installing it or after adding any extensions, you are asked if you want to migrate your user settings from a previous release. (This occurs regardless of whether there was a previous release on your system.)
These settings refer to database connections, reports, and certain SQL Developer user preferences that you set in a previous version by clicking Tools and then Preferences. However, some user preferences are not saved, and you must respecify these using the new release.
To migrate user settings from a previous SQL Developer release:
-
Unzip the kit for the current release into an empty directory (folder). Do not delete or overwrite the directory into which you unzipped the kit for the previous SQL Developer release.
-
When you start the SQL Developer current release, click Yes when asked if you want to migrate settings from a previous release.
-
In the dialog box that is displayed, you can accept the default option to migrate the settings from the most recent SQL Developer installation. Or, if you want to migrate the settings from an earlier installation, you can click to show all builds and then select the desired one.
Installing and starting SQL Developer
SQL Developer does not use an installer. All you need to do is unzip the given file into an empty folder, locate it, and run the executable.
Note
Do not unzip SQL Developer into an folder or an existing SQL Developer installation.
Unzipping the file creates a sqldeveloper folder, which includes a selection of sub-folders and files, including the sqldeveloper.exe executable.
If your download does not include the JDK, then you’ll be prompted for the full path of the JDK folder. Browse to the location of the JDK folder and select it. The path should include the absolute path, as shown in the following screenshot:
Working with different platforms
Whether you are accessing SQL Developer as part of the Oracle Database 11g installation or as a standalone installation, there is a selection of executables available to you. These are either platform-specific or provide additional detail while running the product.
Microsoft Windows
The first executable you’ll find is in the root folder. This is the executable more generally used. If you navigate down to , there are two additional executables, sqldeveloper.exe and sqldeveloperW.exe. The latter is the same as the executable in the root folder. Use either of these for running SQL Developer.
The additional executable is often used for debugging purposes. Use to invoke SQL Developer and a separate console window will open, which displays additional Java messages. You can use these messages when encountering errors in the product and if you want to log an issue with Oracle Support.
The three steps to getting started on Microsoft Windows are as follows:
- Download: Download the full file, with JDK, from the Oracle Technology Network web site
- Unzip: Unzip the file to an empty directory
- Double-click: Double-click on the file
Alternative platforms
Microsoft Windows is the predominant platform used by SQL Developer users. There is a steadily growing audience for Linux and Max OS X. As neither of these platform downloads include the JDK, you need to first access, download, and install the JDK. On starting either Linux or the Mac OS, you’ll be prompted with the full path of the JDK as described.
Mac OS X
Download the file specific to Mac OS X and double-click to unzip the file. This creates an icon for SQL Developer on your desktop. Double-click to run the application.
Linux
Use the Linux rpm command to install SQL Developer. For example, your command might look like the following:
rpm -Uhv sqldeveloper-4.1.0.19.07-1.noarch.rpm
In the same way that unzip creates a sqldeveloper folder, with sub-folders and files, the rpm command creates a sqldeveloper folder, complete with files and sub-folders. Switch to this new folder and run the sqldeveloper.sh executable.
Migrating settings from a previous release
In the initial startup of any release of SQL Developer, you may be asked one or two questions. The first is the location of the Java executable of the JDK as discussed. If you have installed the full release with the JDK, this question is skipped. The second question is if you want to migrate any preferences from a previous release. Regardless of whether this is the first SQL Developer installation on the machine or not, the first time you invoke SQL Developer, you are offered the choice of migrating your settings. You can migrate settings of any previous release to the current release from SQL Developer 1.5 version and above. By default, the utility looks for the latest version installed of the software.
If you want to migrate from a different installation, select the Show All Installations button (as shown in the preceding screenshot). This displays a list of all SQL Developer installations that have the system folder in the Documents and Settings system folder (e.g. ) and includes releases from SQL Developer 1.5 and above. For releases prior to SQL Developer 1.5, the system folder was created within the SQL Developer installation (for example, ).
1.10 Uninstalling SQL Developer
Before you uninstall SQL Developer, if you plan to install SQL Developer (the same or an updated version) later, you may want to save your existing database connections; and if so, see before uninstalling.
To uninstall SQL Developer, remove the entire SQL Developer installation directory (that is, the directory named and all directories and files under it in the hierarchy).
If you also want to remove all user-specific SQL Developer information, you should also delete the directory under which that information is stored (that is, the SQL Developer user information directory). For the location of this directory, see .
1.9 Using a Screen Reader and Java Access Bridge with SQL Developer
Note:
Unless otherwise indicated, the information is this section also applies to Data Modeler and Data Miner.
To make the best use of our accessibility features, Oracle Corporation recommends the following minimum configuration:
-
Windows XP, Windows Vista
-
Java 7 Update 6
Java 7 Update 6 includes the Java Access Bridge. For more information, including how to enable the Java Access Bridge, see:
However, if you are using Java J2SE 1.6.0_24 or higher but before Java 7 Update 6, you must manually install Java Access Bridge 2.0.2 after you install the screen reader (if it is not already installed). Download Java Access Bridge for Windows version 2.0.2. The file you will download is . It is available from: (Refer to the Java Access Bridge documentation available from this website for more information about installation and the Java Access Bridge.)
-
JAWS 12.0.522
Follow these steps to set up a screen reader and Java Access Bridge.
-
Install the screen reader, if it is not already installed.
Refer to the documentation for your screen reader for more information about installation.
-
Install SQL Developer.
-
If you are using Java J2SE 1.6.0_24 or higher but before Java 7 Update 6, go to and follow the instructions there.
-
Start your screen reader.
-
Start SQL Developer by running the file located in the folder .
The preceding steps assume you are running Windows and using a Windows-based screen reader. A console window that contains error information (if any) will open first and then the main SQL Developer window will appear, after SQL Developer has started. Any messages that appear will not affect the functionality of SQL Developer.
4.8 Debug a PL/SQL Procedure
If you want to practice debugging a PL/SQL procedure with SQL Developer, create a procedure that is like the list_a_rating procedure that you created in , but with a logic error. (The coding is also deliberately inefficient, to allow the display of the rating in a variable.)
Before you can debug the procedure, you must ensure that the user associated with the database connection has the DEBUG CONNECT SESSION and DEBUG ANY PROCEDURE privileges.
To create this procedure, if you are not already connected, connect to the database as the user for the schema you are using for this tutorial. Right-click the Procedures node in the schema hierarchy on the left side, select New Procedure, and enter the following information using the Create PL/SQL Procedure dialog box.
Object Name: list_a_rating2
Click OK. A source window for the new procedure is opened. Enter (or copy and paste) the following procedure text, replacing any existing text:
CREATE OR REPLACE
PROCEDURE list_a_rating2(in_rating IN NUMBER) AS
matching_title VARCHAR2(50);
matching_rating NUMBER;
TYPE my_cursor IS REF CURSOR;
the_cursor my_cursor;
rating_cursor my_cursor;
BEGIN
OPEN the_cursor
FOR 'SELECT title
FROM books
WHERE rating <= :in_rating'
USING in_rating;
OPEN rating_cursor FOR 'SELECT rating FROM books WHERE
rating <= :in_rating' USING in_rating;
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('All books with a rating of ' || in_rating || ':');
LOOP
FETCH the_cursor INTO matching_title;
FETCH rating_cursor INTO matching_rating;
EXIT WHEN the_cursor%NOTFOUND;
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(matching_title);
END LOOP;
CLOSE the_cursor;
CLOSE rating_cursor;
END list_a_rating2;
This procedure contains a logic error in the definition of the_cursor: it selects titles where the rating is less than or equal to a specified rating, whereas it should select titles only where the rating is equal to the specified rating.
Click the Save icon to save the procedure.
Assume that you wanted to run this procedure and list all books with a rating of 10. Right-click LIST_A_RATING2 in the Connections navigator hierarchy display and select Run. Under PL/SQL Block in the Run PL/SQL dialog box, change, change IN_RATING => IN_RATING to IN_RATING => 10, and click OK. In the Log window, however, you see unexpected output: many titles are listed, including some with ratings other than 10. So, you decide to debug the procedure.
To debug the procedure, follow these steps:
-
Click the Compile for Debug icon in the toolbar under the LIST_A_RATING2 tab.
-
Set two breakpoints by clicking in the left margin (left of the thin vertical line) beside each of these two lines:
FETCH the_cursor INTO matching_title; FETCH rating_cursor INTO matching_rating;
Clicking in the left margin toggles the setting and unsetting of breakpoints. Clicking beside these two lines will enable you to see the values of the matching_title and matching_rating variables as execution proceeds in debug mode.
-
Click the Debug icon, and in the Run PL/SQL dialog box change IN_RATING => IN_RATING to IN_RATING => 10; then click OK
-
Click View, then Debugger, then Data to display the Data pane. (Tip: Expand the Name column width so that you can see MATCHING_RATING.)
-
Press the F9 key (or click Debug, then Resume) to have execution proceed, stopping at the next breakpoint.
-
Repeatedly press the F9 key (or click Debug, then Resume), noticing especially the value of MATCHING_RATING as each row is processed. You will notice the first incorrect result when you see that the title Get Rich Really Fast is included, even though its rating is only 1 (obviously less than 10). (See the screen illustration with debugging information in .)
-
When you have enough information to fix the problem, you can click the Terminate icon in the debugging toolbar.
Preparing your environment for SQL Developer
Preparing your environment depends on a few factors, including the platform you are working on and whether you have an earlier edition of SQL Developer previously installed. First, you need to locate the software, download it, and install it.
Finding and downloading the software
SQL Developer 4.1 is available through a variety of sources both as a standalone download and as part of the Oracle Database and Oracle JDeveloper installations.
SQL Developer is a free product, and you can download it from the Oracle Technology Network.
Here’s the downloading link.
Use this link to visit the page that will allow you to download the latest standalone production release. It also includes details of the release and is regularly updated with news of preview releases and new articles. While SQL Developer is free to download and use, you are required to read and agree to the license before you can proceed with the download. The product also falls under Oracle Support contracts; if you have a Support contract for the database, then you can log in to Oracle Support tickets.
Downloading and installing the Java Development Kit
SQL Developer 4.1 requires the Java SE Development Kit 8 (JDK8) or later. This includes the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and other tools, which are used by SQL Developer utilities such as the PL/SL Debugger.
For Microsoft Windows, you can download and install SQL Developer with the JDK already installed. This means that you’ll download and unzip the product and will be ready to start, as there are no extra steps required. For other operating systems, you’ll need to download the JDK and direct SQL Developer to the path yourself. Indeed, as many other products require a JDK to be installed, you may already have one in your system. In this case, just direct the product to use an existing JDK installation. For Microsoft Windows, ensure that you download SQL Developer without the JDK to make use of an existing JDK installation.
The SQL Developer 4.1 download site offers a selection of download choices, which are as follows:
- Microsoft Windows (with or without the JDK)
- Linux RPM (without the JDK)
- Mac OS X (without the JDK)
- Other platforms (without the JDK)
- Command Line: sqlcli
In each case, make your selection and download the required file.
Note
SQL Developer is shipped with the minimum JDK required for each release. You can download and use the latest updates to the JDK and should be aware that some updates to the JDK are not supported. This detail is posted on the SQL Developer Downloads page for each release. Starting from SQL Developer 4.1, JDK 1.8 is the minimum JDK supported.
Once you have installed the JDK, you can start SQL Developer.
1.3 Migrating User Settings from a Previous Release
The first time you start SQL Developer after installing it or after adding any extensions, you are asked if you want to migrate your user settings from a previous release. (This occurs regardless of whether there was a previous release on your system.)
Note:
Migration of user settings is supported only from SQL Developer Release 1.1.3 or later to Release 1.5.
These settings refer to database connections, reports, and certain SQL Developer user preferences that you set in a previous version by clicking Tools and then Preferences. However, some user preferences are not saved, and you must re-specify these using the new release.
To migrate user settings from a previous SQL Developer release:
-
Unzip the Release 1.5 kit into an empty directory (folder). Do not delete or overwrite the directory into which you unzipped the kit for the previous SQL Developer release.
-
When you start SQL Developer Release 1.5, click Yes when asked if you want to migrate settings from a previous release.
-
In the dialog box that is displayed, do not accept the default location for the settings. Instead, specify the location of your settings for the previous release, which might be a folder whose path ends with or .
1.5 Location of User-Related Information
SQL Developer stores user-related information in several places, with the specific location depending on the operating system and certain environment specifications. User-related information includes user-defined reports, user-defined snippets, SQL Worksheet history, code templates, and SQL Developer user preferences. In most cases, your user-related information is stored outside the SQL Developer installation directory hierarchy, so that it is preserved if you delete that directory and install a new version.
The user-related information is stored in or under the environment variable location, if defined; otherwise as indicated in , which shows the typical default locations (under a directory or in a file) for specific types of resources on different operating systems. (Note the period in the name of any directory named .)
4.3 Create a Table (TRANSACTIONS)
The TRANSACTIONS table contains a row for each transaction involving a patron and a book (for example, someone checking a book out or returning a book). It includes two foreign key columns. You will use the Create Table dialog box to create the table declaratively; the table that you create will be essentially the same as if you had entered the following statement using the SQL Worksheet:
CREATE TABLE transactions (
transaction_id NUMBER,
patron_id CONSTRAINT for_key_patron_id
REFERENCES patrons(patron_id),
book_id CONSTRAINT for_key_book_id
REFERENCES books(book_id),
transaction_date DATE
CONSTRAINT tran_date_not_null NOT NULL,
transaction_type NUMBER
CONSTRAINT tran_type_not_null NOT NULL,
CONSTRAINT transactions_pk PRIMARY KEY (transaction_id));
To create the TRANSACTIONS table, if you are not already connected, connect to the database as the user for the schema you are using for this tutorial. Right-click the Tables node in the schema hierarchy on the left side, select New Table, and enter the following information. (If a tab or field is not mentioned, do not enter anything for it. Be sure that the Advanced box is not checked when you start creating the table.)
Schema: Specify your current schema as the schema in which to create the table.
Name: TRANSACTIONS
Create the table columns using the following information. After creating each column except the last one (transaction_type), click Add Column to add the next column. (If you accidentally click OK instead of Add Column, right-click the TRANSACTIONS table in the Connections navigator display, select Edit, and continue to add columns.)
After you have entered the last column (transaction_type), check Advanced (next to Schema). This displays a pane for selecting more table options. For this table, you will use the Column Sequences and Foreign Keys panes.
Column Sequences pane
You have already specified TRANSACTION_ID as the primary key, and you will use this pane only to specify that the primary key column values are to be populated automatically. This convenient approach uses a trigger and a sequence (both created automatically by SQL Developer), and ensures that each transaction ID value is unique.
Column: TRANSACTION_ID
Sequence: New Sequence
Trigger: TRANSACTIONS_TRG (The default; a before-insert trigger with this name will be created automatically.)
Foreign Keys tab
1. Click Add to create the first of the two foreign keys for the TRANSACTIONS table.
Name: for_key_patron_id
Referenced Schema: Name of the schema containing the table with the primary key or unique constraint to which this foreign key refers. Use the schema you have been using for this tutorial.
Referenced Table: PATRONS
Referenced Constraint: PATRONS_PK (The name of the primary key constraint for the PATRONS table. Be sure that the Referenced Column on PATRONS displayed value is PATRON_ID.)
Associations: Local Column: PATRON_ID
Associations: Referenced Column on PATRONS: PATRON_ID
2. Click Add to create the second of the two foreign keys for the TRANSACTIONS table.
Name: for_key_book_id
Referenced Schema: Name of the schema containing the table with the primary key or unique constraint to which this foreign key refers. Use the schema you have been using for this tutorial.
Referenced Table: BOOKS
Referenced Constraint: BOOKS_PK (The name of the primary key constraint for the BOOKS table. Be sure that the Referenced Column on BOOKS displayed value is BOOK_ID.
Associations: Local Column: BOOK_ID
Associations: Referenced Column on BOOKS: BOOK_ID
3. Click OK to finish creating the table.
PL/SQL Developer
Oracle SQL Developer
TOAD
Alt SQL Developer
Intellij IDEA
PL/SQL Developer: 216
Oracle SQL Developer:
Alt SQL Developer: 99
1.10 Uninstalling SQL Developer
Before you uninstall SQL Developer, if you plan to install SQL Developer (the same or an updated version) later, you may want to save your existing database connections; and if so, see before uninstalling.
To uninstall SQL Developer, remove the entire SQL Developer installation directory (that is, the directory named and all directories and files under it in the hierarchy).
If you also want to remove all user-specific SQL Developer information, you should also delete the directory under which that information is stored (that is, the SQL Developer user information directory). For the location of this directory, see .
4.4 Create a Sequence
Create one sequence object, which will be used in INSERT statements to generate unique primary key values in the PATRONS table. (You do not need to create a sequence for the primary key in the TRANSACTIONS table, because you used the SQL Developer feature that enables automatic population of primary key values for that table.) You will use the Create Sequence dialog box to create the sequence declaratively; the sequence that you create will be essentially the same as if you had entered the following statements using the SQL Worksheet:
CREATE SEQUENCE patron_id_seq START WITH 100 INCREMENT BY 1;
After creating the sequence, you can use it in INSERT statements to generate unique numeric values. The following example uses the patron_id_seq sequence in creating a row for a new patron (library user), assigning her a patron ID that is the next available value of the patron_id_seq sequence:
INSERT INTO patrons VALUES (patron_id_seq.nextval, 'Smith', 'Jane', '123 Main Street', 'Mytown, MA 01234', null);
To create the sequence, if you are not already connected, connect to the database as the user for the schema you are using for this tutorial. Right-click the Sequences node in the schema hierarchy on the left side, select New Sequence, and enter information using the Create Sequence dialog box.
Schema: Specify your current schema as the schema in which to create the sequence.
Name: patron_id_seq
Increment: 1
Start with: 100
Min value: 100
Click OK to finish creating the sequence.
